The extracted water can then be purified above ground. The purification of groundwater basically includes the following stages of the procedure:

  • Gravel filtration for the removal of dissolved iron and suspended solids
  • GEH filtration for arsenic removal:
  • Activated carbon filtration for the removal of chlorinated and aromatic compounds

The water flowing in the soil absorbs pollutants from the soil, which is then pumped up and cleaned.
