Remediation of chloraniline damage by means of Pump & Treat
Ressources: Soil, Groundwater
Flow rate: 30 (m3/h)
Pollutants: Arsenic, Chlorobenzene
Processes: Adsorption, Activated Carbon, Gravel filtration
In operation since: Jan 2009
KF Company: Harbauer Berlin GmbH
The extracted water can then be purified above ground. The purification of groundwater basically includes the following stages of the procedure:
- Gravel filtration for the removal of dissolved iron and suspended solids
- GEH filtration for arsenic removal:
- Activated carbon filtration for the removal of chlorinated and aromatic compounds
The water flowing in the soil absorbs pollutants from the soil, which is then pumped up and cleaned.
